One thing I promised myself when we found out we were pregnant was that I would take as much time investing in documenting our family’s memories as I did with others. I am SO glad that here she is, a year and a half later and I still invest so much time in capturing the good, the bad and the ugly (well, not really ugly because she’s SO beautiful so maybe we’ll just say yucky moments) and having them to always look back on.
This is just a small post but today, my one year old child asked me if she could help me carry in groceries last week. When we return from the store usually I’ll put her inside or let her place on the porch and I’ll have the door propped open. Today, she came out and said. “Hawp yoo? Hawp yoo?” I said– you wanna help me carry them in? “Hokay!” she said cheerily back to me!
OH MY GOSH!!!!!!! I LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!
We went to BJ’s so everything was pretty much heavy and bulk items, but she did manage to bring in the avocados, muffins, the Morningstar breakfast patties and the “blue juice” which is that awesome Blueberry juice made by the brand Naked. LOVE it! She loves it too!
Then I just took pictures of her being her. Fake crying over a barely there boo, boo, squatting because I’m squatting with the camera. I love her. I JUST love her, somehow more every day. She’s an angel y’all, I can’t even believe it some days. See the pile of stuff on top of the toilet paper? SHE DID THAT. Not me. She loves stacking and organization– so naturally, Type A mama is SO proud! 🙂
