This day was beautiful for so many reasons. From an outsider not experiencing this wedding in Hampton Roads on Saturday, it was a rainy and typical day..traffic at the tunnels, a missed beach opportunity because of the weather..just another day. But at the Portsmouth Woman’s Club two people who are so smitten and wildly head-over-heels for one another married each other and brought tears to their family and friend’s eyes making it happen. Two people that I think are so beautiful for their passions in life and who ARE exactly who they are…down to the Batman garter and having guests sign vintage records..Kelcey and Josh are one beautiful husband and wife I’m so lucky to know!
Their “spot” is Cafe Moka in Virginia Beach, so the coffee shop was gracious enough to bring their coffee bar to the wedding! Josh rocked an apple green bowtie and Kelcey wore emerald green shoes and jewelry–and PLEASE check out her ring!!!!!! Their organic and down to earth look only enhances how ridiculously good looking they are (inside and out beauty all around) and it made for an amazing wedding day full of moments, beautiful memories and Kelcey’s WAY adorable expressions!
This was one of the only weddings I’ve shot where the weather was too intense and time too tight because of having to rearrange the ceremony set up for any natural light portraits at all– but Kelcey + Josh will have an outdoors session in the near future with their wedding attire so keep an eye out!!! 🙂 Enjoy!!!!!!! 🙂
Huge thank you to Debbie Laughlin Photography for the amazing help!!! 🙂
