So…you’re a business owner or work a job that you MUST show up for, but the morning sickness (aka ALL DAY sickness) has officially hit! What do you do!? After two previous pregnancies…I finally have mine down to being able to function when I have something to show up for! Check out the video blog today and see if there is anything in there that could help YOU! 🙂 XOXO

And I thought about doing this in the day time, having fresh makeup on and trying to look a little nicer…but this is DEFINITELY just how I am right now, and I wanted to be an honest reflection on how I feel…so embrace the hot mess! Haha! 🙂

Hey there! We're a husband and wife team who has the honor to document inspiring wedding days for the most cheerful couples around. We have three daughters lovingly referred to as the mermaid mafia and we love nothing more than salty beach days, laughing as much as possible and living the simple, good life.

  1. I absolutely LOVE how I feel like you are talking directly to me! Video blogging is so your thing! And you looked beautiful! Another thing you have that makes your video blogs so good is your voice- it’s so soft but cheerful and positive- even if you don’t feel that way, I could never tell! We just found out I’m expecting and all of a sudden the symptoms hit me! Thanks for being so real and open! It’s definitely helpful to know I’m not alone! 😉

  2. You look beautiful and I love how even when you are feeling like crap you remain positive! You continue to inspire and rock it out! Congratulations!!
I would love to know your tips for keeping your camera safe from the sand, especially with all the beach shoots you do and time you spend at the beach.

    1. That’s a great question Lisa!!! I always recommend if you put your camera bag down in the sand making SURE you tuck your long strap inside your bag and not letting it drag in the sand and then shake sand all in your bag! It’s pretty much inevitable for me to get sand in my camera, it’s in my lenses too– but that’s because I kick a lot of sand when I walk ahahha!! Keeping it covered or tucked against your clothes when walking helps! And also, the closer to the ocean the more salt and moisture you get on your lens so watch out for it and keep wiping! 🙂
