It was love at first email, and then even more at first phone call, but it was LOVE…for Jordan and I, haha! Seriously, this girl means so much to me already and I haven’t even shot her wedding yet…and I only recently met her in person shooting these perfect engagements! I love brides that I connect with on so many levels, I could have kept her on the phone forever when we first talked…I wish so much they didn’t live so far away in Delaware BUT I am so happy for their life they are building there together! Jordan is salt-of-the-Earth SWEET and loving and oh so in love with her fiancé Daniel and I will tell you right now, these two are some of the hardest working people around…they deserve SUCH a beautiful life together and I know that’s what they’re going to get!
Jordan and Daniel are naturally adorable together, I think my favorite thing was watching them walk and laugh at each other during this session because that’s not easy to do but they made it look SO cute! And, he always tucks her hair out of her face when the wind blows it around…and THAT is one of my favorite things in the world…and I kept looking up and catching him do that and it’s always the sign of a really, really good guy that makes me melt!! Jordan deserves that, and Dan has an incredible wife-to-be and I just could not be happier for them!
And SUCH a special thank you to Cindy, Jordan’s mom! She’s a nurse and she was so protective making sure I didn’t literally fall and slide down the hills at the park because I was 37 weeks pregnant shooting this hahah! She carried my camera bag (with two Mark III’s, an 85 1.2, 50 1.2, 35mm 1.4 and 100mm 2.8– so yeah, it was HEAVY!) and she took great care of me. You really can’t ask for more than that in a bride’s mama, I was so incredibly thankful for her!!!! What a gem! 🙂 XOXOXOXO
