This was probably one of the things that totally made our summer. Our friends at Carters let us in on a little secret…they were officially going to bump up sizing to 14 so that we could CONTINUE to grow with them!!!! 🙂 If you know me, you know I have been happily putting my girls in Carters for their entire lives. Having three girls, I’ve passed down some of the same outfits over and over and over because they LAST! They don’t look like hand-me-downs, they still look new and that’s something I’ve appreciated having three little girls two years apart in age.

I told the people over at Carters who reached out to us that walking into a Carters has been a sentimental memory for me I will never forget. I will never forget in Virginia Beach walking into the Landstown Commons Carters with my hand on my baby belly, knowing a little girl was in there, and tears were streaming down my face. In the store. Have I also had my kids melt down so badly in Carters that we had to leave? Yes, LOL! But my heart always goes back to that first time when it hit me that this store was going to mean so much to us. Now we (loudly, LOL!) walk into the one at the Tanger Outlets here on the Outer Banks (I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN THEY OPENED) and my girls, all three of them, get to pick one matching outfit or dress per season.

Carters we are beyond honored to grow with you. You have meant so much to our family! THANK YOU for these shirts from your new line!!! 🙂 You couldn’t have picked a better expression for the mermaid mafia who indeed shows up very authentically as who they are.
