Come on now!!!!!!!! This is my favorite place in the world!!! The very drive to this wedding renders memories of me driving with my dad SO early in the morning while everyone else in the beach house slept because we wanted to see the wild horses. And we saw them. What an incredible sight! I got that nostalgic “I’m home” feeling pulling up to Heather + Ian’s wedding … besides the fact that it was in a huge mansion, it was beautiful, down-to-earth and authentic.
Blue and yellow details, a windy and cloudy but NOT rainy day, and two people in love who took a break from their hiking and adventurous life to get hitched in OBX. Close friends and family were the only ones in attendance to make for an intimate and perfect ceremony. Maybe one of the cutest little ring bearers I’ve ever seen, even with a pout as he made his way down the aisle..Wesley made sure to steal my heart that day!
Thank you Heather and Ian for one of my favorite parts of the day, riding in my destroyed-by-animal-crackers-and-Barbies Ford Taurus with me to the Corolla Lighthouse. It was serene and tourists were sparse, so it looked like we had the whole place completely to ourselves. What a beautiful day to get married in OBX, even with the clouds. You two have nothing but a lifetime of gorgeous memories to make ahead of you- thank you for being a part of my life! 🙂
