YAY YOU’RE HERE!!!!! THE LITTLE HOME TOUR finally made it to the blog!!! We are so happy to virtually welcome you into our happy little Hatteras cottage down the road from the sea. Whew, what a journey it took to get here. Amanda 15 years ago in Virginia Beach would have envisioned happiness and success in a suburban neighborhood with a two story house with at least five bedrooms and lots of pricey stuff. That never matched my heart… but it was the direction I was going in because I thought I was supposed to keep going bigger, better, more expensive, more space.. the way the stream usually tends to flow. But… I guess I’m a salmon because here I am flailing around swimming upstream against the current fighting to do something different.

A salmon? UGH I am the weirdest blogger. But, if you know me in real life, this is exactly what I would say so let’s roll with it 🙂

We have found the perfect little beach cottage with a beach access a tiny walk away here in Frisco, North Carolina on Hatteras Island. We don’t need a lot to be happy, we just need each other and the sea 🙂

In December, we moved from Colington (Kill Devil Hills) to Hatteras and we officially purchased our home in JANUARY! In that time, we also became DEBT FREE which you can read about here.. we paid a LOT of student loans, medical debt and more off!!!!!!!! AHHH! This has been a whirlwind of a season and we are so happy to share this little home with you.

Simple, but not plain.
Decluttered, but not empty.
Small, but full of people that can’t get enough of each other 🙂

So… we aren’t perfect but we are perfectly content.

Our home is small, and I couldn’t get this to look like a Pinterest inspiration staged house if I tried…. so without further ado, our little Hatteras beach box is BLOGGED FOR YOU! ENJOY!
