I start writing and deleting and writing and deleting…I can’t seem to not ramble about this couple and I can’t let it take away from the blog images, so I’m going to work really hard to summarize and narrow this one down!
First of all, Molly’s dad hugged me toward the end of the reception and said “you’re family!” and some people hear that, appreciate it and forget it, but I don’t. I was treated so well and like family on this day and I adored the bridesmaids, the groomsmen, the incredible guests and that perfect bride and groom of mine…they are all my kind of people and we (Mike and I) have to express SUCH great thanks to them! THANK YOU to all of you for being so good to us on a hot and tough day for us vendors!
Congrats to Molly’s adorable grandparents on SIXTY SIX years together, and thanks for making us all (Josh, too! haha!) cry while you danced. You held each other closer than I have ever seen two people squeeze while dancing and you smiled, you laughed, you inspired every heart there. And to Mrs. Hill, I am unsure how I captured your reactions to your husband’s speech because my eyes had filled so heavily with tears I couldn’t even see. You hugged your daughter on your wedding day after those words from a proud Mr. Hill and that meant the absolute world to Molly to see that strong mama of hers make it through so much.
Brendan and Molly, what can I say? You’re golden. You’re effortlessly best friends and you make love look really incredible. And…..if we’re being honest, you make it look WAY good looking, too hahaha! LOVE YOU GUYS!!! 🙂
