I’m not sure how to even START this one! What do I write?! I love Sasha and Vann! Sasha found me first and then Vann told her “umm..I went to middle and high school with her! I know her!” It was meant to be– I got to see this sweet guy I grew up with marry an incredibly beautiful inside and out woman who was crazy about him, and vice versa. They are the REAL deal. All night people kept talking about it! Derek Myers did say something about Vann not changing..literally..since middle school, hahaha..but no really, he is the SAME sweet person he was back then. But now, he’s an incredible grown man working hard and smitten with this gorgeous soul named Sasha. I loved their engagements last year in Richmond and their wedding was everything and more that I thought it could be!!
Sasha’s mama hugged me the second she met me. I may just have baby girls right now..but I get it. I know what she was thinking. Sasha is her baby, and I instantly connected with that and felt what her mama was feeling while shooting her getting into that dress. You should have seen them fighting back the tears! It was beautiful! We went to the church, tied the knot and then headed to the Capitol for some pictures and bless this bridal party for hanging in the heat! Every one of you deserves credit for that!! Sasha and Vann gave me some portrait time there and we headed to one of the best receptions of all time. Dancing like no other, the best time for ALL of the guests! It was amazing!! 🙂 I have to admit I was LOVING the mini Hermitage High School reunion, too! I saw some people who I felt like I haven’t been away from a day since. They’re just that natural of a memory for me!
Vann and Sasha, you radiate love and joy and you inspire your friends and family! Thank you so dearly for having me as a part of your day!
Thank you SO MUCH SACHEL SAMONE for being my amazing assistant as always!!!!! 🙂 VENDOR LIST COMING SOON! 🙂
And…thank you to my dad. He actually picked me up from this wedding hahaha, it was in Richmond and since Mike was with the girls at the hotel, he volunteered..oh the irony of having your dad come pick you up from something that felt a little like an old high school event! 🙂
